I just discovered this place and I LOVE it! Great place for lunch or dinner. Music is good; noise level perfect for a conversation. Food is delicious! They use FRESH sautéed mushrooms! I got a mushroom slice and they LOADED it up with mushrooms. I had the chicken sorrentino the other night and that was excellent and it had fresh sautéed mushrooms too. Gonna try the chicken marsala next time.
We eat here on Saturdays quite a bit. Usually it's just a slice of pizza, some garlic knots and a couple of sodas. Pizza and knots are fabulous!!(Probably the best knots in town, light, tasty and covered in garlic!!) We recently went and actually had dinner there, courtesy of the owner giving us a $25 gift card, which she obviously didn't need to do(Thank you very much!!) I had lasagna and the wife, chicken marsala, and a side of garlic bread. Both of the meals were fantastic!! If you haven't already tried this place, do yourself a favor and go, you won't be disappointed!! Currently it's undergoing a facelift inside, but it's not going to affect your experience and dining. It'll be worth the effort they are putting into their establishment.
I love this place. It's not fancy! But the food is just good solid Italian food. Amazing home made soups. My favorites are the white bean escarole and the fresh minestrone. And the grilled chicken with broccoli rabe is fabulous and enough for 2 plus. Nice young servers. Owner is a good guy. Ambiance is very casual but clean and updated. Enjoy!
We went to La Familglia to celebrate my daughter's birthday. From the moment we went in last week to inquire to the moment we walked out today the service and the kindness of the staff, particularly Nicole was simply amazing. When we walked in today everyone had everything all set up and our server was super attentive, especially considering we had 24 teens . The pizza was great and the dessert that Nicole planned was out of this world delicious. I must say that the cake pops were everything Nicole promised and more. Simply put we had an outstanding experience and it was all thanks to Nicole. If you ever visit La Famiglia in Glen Cove you must see Nicole. She will make your experience AMAZING.
I come often with my brother and we love it! The service is amazing and Nicole is so sweet! She always provides 10/10 service! My brother always gets the calamari and it's perfectly crispy on the outside and still tender on the inside. 5 stars is too little to rate this place.

I came here a couple months ago to see if we could hold our weekly mahjong group and have lunch-- Fabulous lunch specials offered and terrific service. So I inquired about having our golf luncheon there. They closed the inside for our group of 30 women and graciously served us a family style lunch. Salads are great, pastas as well. We were very pleased. Thank you to Paul and his staff.
My brother and I are out of towners and we are here for a wedding. We wanted a good slice of New York pizza. Our hotel concierge recommended La Famiglia. Boy are we glad they did! The cheese pizza was so excellent that we took a whole pie to go. Nikki and Paul are awesome!
Best place for freshly made garlic knots! Whenever I want delicious pasta this place is my go to. They have amazing food and amazing service. Nicole did a great job attending to us and assuring we had an amazing dinner and time.
Always order takeout or delivery from here because we love the food so much . Finally had some free time and decided to go for a late lunch and sit in and what an amazing experience it was . The food was exceptional as always but the service was perfect as well . Very friendly and attentive . Can't wait to return but I'll probably order tonight
